Meet our Central America + Mexico Ambassadors

WEDO Central America & Mexico Ambassadors are dedicated to advancing women’s entrepreneurship and driving positive change in the region. From Guatemala to Costa Rica, from Honduras to Mexico City, our Ambassadors are at the forefront of empowering women in business and creating a supportive ecosystem for their success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement the global vision of WEDO through country-level commitments in collaboration with the Regional Ambassador & relevant Country Ambassadors
  • Propose & curate a country-specific events calendar, regularly reporting event outcomes & impact to the Regional Ambassador
  • Attend Monthly Ambassador Zoom Meeting with entire WEDO community – the 4th Thursday at 10 am EDT
  • Manage regular local community outreach to deploy the WEDO brand & members base
  • Serve as the contact point for local sponsors, proposing, scouting, & managing local relationships in collaboration with the Regional Ambassador, and when relevant, the Global Fundraising Team
  • Set & manage a local WEDO budget supported by local fundraising, in collaboration with the Regional Ambassador
  • Serve as the contact point for local press & media outlets, in collaboration with the Regional Ambassador, using all WEDO branding, social media, & press toolkits
  • Report monthly on the implementation of country activism to the Founder & Global Ambassador

KEY PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

  • Experience in social impact & strategy development highly advisable
  • Serve in a high-impact corporate & / or strategic philanthropy executive capacity as a entrepreneur or intrapreneur
