Taira Soo is a designer, former professional dancer and entrepreneur. Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, she moved to the United States as a child and found solace in the arts.

After her dance career, she founded Soopergirl, a children’s clothing brand that encouraged tween girls to embrace their individuality and supported arts programs in schools. She now runs the creative imprint split & type and is the author of the memoir Just a Little Buzzed.
