Broadway Producer Seaview Productions LLC & Board Member Women Moving Millions

As co-founder of Seaview Productions, Jana Shea carries her passion for gender equity into the entertainment world. She champions works that raise up women and other underserved voices. Jana started Imagine Equal, a Broadway theatre investment fund aimed at bringing diverse stories to the stage and providing better value to savvy investor’s theatre portfolio.

Broadway credits: Seaview is making history by bringing Jeremy O. Harris’s Slave Play to Broadway with numerous ticket accessibility initiatives, including making 10,000 tickets available at $39 and facilitating the first ever performance for an entirely black-identifying audience, dubbed “Black Out”, on Broadway. New musical, Lempicka, directed by Tony award-winner Rachel Chavkin, will have its pre-Broadway run at La Jolla Playhouse in the Spring of 2020. The Tony Award-nominated play, What the Constitution Means to Me, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love and Murder, and the Olivier award-winning Musical Revival, Gypsy. Jana is the founder of Mentor Management LLC, a company dedicated to advising and investing in start-ups, one of which is Borderlight Entertainment, a musical talent management company that serves Broadway artists. She is also a major investor in two healthcare startups: AWARE RECOVERY CARE, the first in-home addiction rehabilitation program boasting 60% success rate for clients after one year, and CERAS, a remote monitoring health platform. She serves on the Board of Women Moving Millions and is Vice-President of the Legacy Theatre, a historic CT theater restoration.
