Jennifer H. Cunningham is an award-winning journalist and the Editor in Chief of Newsweek, a role she has held since December 2024 after joining the magazine as Executive Editor in March 2024. Before Newsweek, she was Editor in Chief for news at Insider Inc., where she led the news division when it won its first Pulitzer Prize in 2022 and oversaw teams across the United States, United Kingdom and Singapore. Her earlier work appeared on Interactive One, Cheddar TV, the New York Daily News, amNew York and the Bergen Record. She is the immediate past president of the Newswomen’s Club of New York, the nation’s oldest nonprofit advocacy group for women in the newsroom.
