Meet Mireille Toulekima, the Southern Africa Regional Ambassador at Women Entrepreneurship Day Organisation (WEDO). She is a remarkable individual, being an Award-Winning Global Entrepreneur, Engineer, STEM and Energy specialist, with extensive experience spanning four continents: Africa, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

Mireille’s impact reaches far and wide as she engages in empowering work globally, with a strong focus on Energy, STEM, Women, and Entrepreneurship. Her contributions extend to various leadership and technical Think Tank groups worldwide.

Currently, she holds significant positions, such as the Managing Director of MT Energy Resources in Perth, Australia, and the Global Chair Engineering at the prestigious G100 Club. Additionally, she is a co-founder of Women In Energy Global (WinEG), demonstrating her commitment to advancing women’s roles in the energy sector.

Mireille’s passion for empowering women and girls in STEM is evident through her social venture, STEM QUEENS, which aims to empower at least one million women and girls in STEM by 2025, making a substantial difference in the lives of many.

Acknowledging her outstanding achievements, Mireille has received numerous international awards. Among them are being named one of the African Shapers’ Top 100 African Female Executives in the Oil and Gas Industry and being recognized in the Top 50 Most Inspiring Women list by Business Gate CEO H.E Laila Rahhal (UAE). She also received the Global Women Leadership Award from the Global Council for the Promotion of International Trade (UK and India) and the Women’s Inspirational Award in Engineering from Bangladesh, among other accolades.
