As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mwanga, Echika leads with a digital-first approach, providing essential services such as debt recovery, customer support/engagement, telemarketing/telesales, and survey services. At Mwanga, ethical debt recovery is coupled with dignity, as Echika’s team works closely with debtors to restructure repayment plans, fostering financial freedom without undue pressure. Positioned as a leading start-up outsourcing firm, Mwanga plays a vital role in supporting growing and innovative businesses to scale seamlessly.

Echika’s commitment to empowerment extends to education through her role as Founder of Yapha Academy. At Yapha Academy, she spearheads efforts to train and connect Africans to global economic opportunities, empowering them to excel in their fields and enter the workforce with confidence. With a mission to facilitate the transition of 1 million Africans into jobs or business opportunities within two years, Yapha Academy stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity.

Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Echika honed her skills in business performance and corporate finance, serving in senior roles at prestigious organizations including Deloitte Nigeria and The House of Freedom Nigeria. Her extensive experience also includes leadership positions at Alexander Forbes, where she led Pensions and Employee Benefits Valuations, contributing significantly to Nigeria’s financial landscape.

Echika’s academic journey is marked by excellence, culminating in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. As the Co-Chair of the Africa Business Alliance, she remains dedicated to driving impactful change and fostering collaboration within the business community.
