Margarita Louis-Dreyfus is a Swiss-Russian business leader, investor, philanthropist, and former sports executive. She serves as Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Louis Dreyfus Holding B.V. and Non-Executive Chairperson of Louis Dreyfus Company International Holding B.V., one of the world’s leading merchants and processors of agricultural commodities.

Since joining the Supervisory Board in 2007 and becoming Chairperson in 2011, Margarita has helped shape the long-term vision and global growth of the Louis Dreyfus Group. Earlier in her career, she held positions in accounting, sales, and marketing, building a strong foundation in international business. She earned her Diploma in Accounting from the St. Petersburg School of Commerce.

Margarita also served as owner and President of Olympique de Marseille, one of Europe’s most historic football clubs, where she provided strategic leadership during an important chapter in the club’s history.

Deeply committed to creating lasting global impact, Margarita founded the Louis Dreyfus Foundation, which advances sustainable solutions to reduce hunger and poverty by empowering smallholder farmers, strengthening local communities, and improving food security around the world.

In 2023, she launched the Human Change Foundation, dedicated to advancing children’s mental health, safety, well-being, and cognitive development at the intersection of technology, science, and social impact.

A passionate advocate for innovation, sustainability, and philanthropy, Margarita champions initiatives that unite business, science, education, technology, and the arts to address global challenges and improve lives. A mother of five, she balances her leadership across business, philanthropy, and family, and resides in Switzerland.
