Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) is expanding its global AI Entrepreneurship Education initiative across Pakistan, with an ambitious goal: equip 10,000 women and girls with the AI skills, tools, and confidence to build businesses, create opportunities, and participate in the future economy.

Leading the initiative in Pakistan is Aisha Mahmood Butt, WEDO Ambassador and Founder of GCS, who has become a driving force for women’s entrepreneurship, education, and economic empowerment in the country.

Through Aisha’s leadership and extensive community-building efforts, WEDO’s free AI Entrepreneurship Education Program has launched in partnership with five educational communities across Pakistan: Superior University, Forman Christian College (FCCU), University of Management and Technology (UMT), Quaid College, and WEDO & GCS Islamabad.

Working alongside WEDO AI Community Manager Maryam Ruqayya, Aisha is building a growing network of students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and women business owners who can use AI not simply as technology, but as a tool for economic independence.

The response was immediate.

In the first week alone, more than 62 women enrolled across the five participating groups, generating some of the highest single-group engagement among WEDO’s global AI education cohorts.

But this is only the beginning.

The Goal: Educate 10,000 Women Across Pakistan

Aisha and WEDO are working to expand the program throughout Pakistan, with the goal of reaching 10,000 women and girls and providing them with practical AI education at no cost.

The program teaches participants how to apply AI to real-world entrepreneurship—from researching an idea and creating a business plan to marketing, sales, finance, operations, customer management, content creation, and growing a business.

“I am incredibly excited to bring WEDO’s AI Entrepreneurship Education Program to women across Pakistan. Technology and AI can open doors that many women never imagined possible. Our goal is to educate 10,000 women and give them practical tools to build businesses, create income, and shape their own futures. I am grateful to WEDO for bringing this opportunity to Pakistan and for believing in the extraordinary potential of our women.”

For WEDO, the Pakistan initiative represents exactly what its global mission is designed to accomplish: give women a hand up through education, entrepreneurship, technology, and access to opportunity.

When one woman gains the tools to build her economic future, the impact can extend far beyond one individual—to her family, her community, and ultimately her country.

10,000 women. Thousands of possibilities. One mission: empower women with the tools to create their own opportunities.
