At the heart of every innovation is a spark—an idea, a bold decision, a moment that changes everything. For women and girls in Afghanistan, that spark just got brighter.
Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF), opening doors to a future powered by artificial intelligence, economic opportunity, and boundless possibility.
This isn’t just a course. It’s a global movement with real-world impact.
AI Education Meets Real-World Empowerment
Through this partnership, AUAF students—many of whom face immense barriers due to gender, geography, and ongoing conflict—will gain free access to WEDO’s globally recognized 8-week AI Business Education Program. The program brings together elite minds from MIT, Harvard, and Carnegie Mellon, alongside entrepreneurs and futurists shaping tomorrow’s industries.
Who’s teaching this course? Think next-level leaders like:
-
Marty Ringlein – Visionary CEO of Agree.com, investor, and professor with four successful exits.
-
John Boyce – Founder of Tigergene, behind $1.8 billion in biotech exits.
-
Heidi Hysell – A trailblazer in Responsible AI, founder of FUTURE | FUTURE.
-
Igor Jablokov – The genius behind Yap, foundational to Amazon’s Alexa and Fire TV.
-
Bina48 – One of the world’s most advanced AI humanoid robots.
-
Heath Owen – Creative futurist at the Filecoin Foundation.
-
And of course, Wendy Diamond, WEDO’s fearless founder and the driving force behind this initiative.
Creating Pathways Where None Existed
For many Afghan women, access to this kind of education has been an impossible dream. But through this initiative, that dream becomes a reality.
“This isn’t just about coding or algorithms—it’s about possibility,” says Wendy Diamond, WEDO’s Founder and CEO. “We’re equipping Afghan women to become innovators, entrepreneurs, and architects of their own futures.”
By combining expert mentorship, cutting-edge content, and a global network of support, the program provides more than skills—it gives a lifeline to economic independence.
A Mission Bigger Than Any One Program
This effort is part of WEDO’s ambitious goal: to empower one million women worldwide through AI education. The AUAF partnership exemplifies what is possible when purpose-driven organizations collaborate to uplift communities in crisis.
“We’re honored to collaborate with WEDO on this vital mission,” said a representative from AUAF. “Together, we’re sending a powerful message: Afghan women belong in the future of tech.”
The Future Is Here—and It’s Inclusive
WEDO and AUAF aren’t just offering a class. They’re opening a door to a future where women are building businesses, solving global challenges, and leading the AI revolution.
Because when women rise, the world rises with them.
Join the Movement. Change the Future.
