Sophie Brown is an accomplished British investor, global finance executive, and trusted advisor working across private capital, family offices, and high-growth businesses. A Chartered Accountant who began her career at PwC, Sophie has built an exceptional track record leading finance, growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, debt structuring, and complex business transformations across private equity-backed and family-owned companies. She serves on multiple boards in an advisory capacity, bringing a unique combination of strategic vision, operational expertise, and execution-focused leadership to governance and growth.
Her career spans a diverse range of industries. As CFO of Mojo Music & Media, Sophie led the successful sale of a catalog of more than 30,000 songs, including 89 Billboard No. 1 hits, to Concord. She has also served as CFO of Quintessential Brands and Leeds Bradford International Airport, where she oversaw a major terminal redevelopment during the airport’s transition to private equity ownership.
Today, Sophie serves as Head of Capital Relationships at Capital Assured and the purpose-built student housing platform CASACASA, while also serving as CFO of Dynamite Songs and the award-winning non-alcoholic wine brand NON. In addition, she advises companies across the real estate, hospitality, luxury retail, and consumer sectors, helping founders and businesses accelerate growth through strategic capital, partnerships, and operational excellence.
Having lived and worked internationally, including seven years in Singapore before recently relocating to Dubai, Sophie brings a truly global perspective to investing, entrepreneurship, and business leadership.
Sophie is also the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) Ambassador to the United Kingdom, where she is leading WEDO’s mission to empower women entrepreneurs across the UK. Through her leadership, she is building partnerships, expanding opportunities, connecting founders with investors and influential networks, and helping advance WEDO’s global movement to unlock the economic potential of women through entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership.
