Pamela Finn is our WEDO Regional Ambassador for Nebraska, where she brings decades of experience, leadership, and dedication to the advancement of women entrepreneurs across the state.
Pamela’s journey as an entrepreneur began in 1992 when she founded Creative Enterprises Inc., a global design and manufacturing firm that partnered with major brands including Nike, Reebok, the NFL, and NBA. After building the company into a thriving international business, she successfully sold the enterprise in 2016. Her ability to scale a startup to global success has made her a respected voice in both corporate and entrepreneurial circles.
In 2018, Pamela joined Burlington Capital as President of Business Development and Investor Relations, where she led strategic partnerships and investor outreach. She now continues to serve as a Senior Advisor with the firm, contributing to investment strategy and mentorship initiatives.
Passionate about empowering the next generation of women leaders, Pamela founded the Midwest Women Entrepreneurs Collective, a nonprofit focused on equipping women with the resources, education, and mentorship needed to succeed in business. Her work through the Collective has impacted countless women across the Midwest, especially in rural and underserved communities.
As a WEDO Ambassador, Pamela is a strong advocate for economic equity, access to capital, and entrepreneurship education. In 2024, she represented Nebraska at the United Nations Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Summit, bringing visibility to regional challenges and opportunities for women business owners. Her initiatives in Nebraska include programs that support women in leveraging technology, building investor-ready business plans, and navigating the modern economic landscape.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Pamela is a dedicated community leader. She serves on the boards of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce, Marian High School, and the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center Advocacy Board. She is also a managing partner at Proven Ventures, supporting early-stage startup growth.
Pamela’s career began as the first female executive in the shoe industry at Payless Shoe Source—a groundbreaking role that set the tone for a lifetime of championing women’s advancement.
Also a certified yoga instructor and avid traveler, Pamela approaches life and leadership with balance, resilience, and intention.
